Weekend's Big Clash Liverpool V Chelsea
There is no love lost between these two sides and that will be the case again on Sunday when the sides meet for the first time this season. Liverpool have had a poor start but seem to have found their feet lately with two good wins against Blackburn and Bolton. Chelsea are flying at the moment, Five points clear at the top and got a great away win at Blackburn last week.
Over the last five years in the Premier League and Champions League these teams have had some huge battles. The games are always tight affairs and usually decided by the odd goal. Last season Chelsea dominted Liverpool in both Premier League games. Liverpool have had a lot of joy at Anfield against Chelsea recently Fernando Torres has been the key player. Check out Torres's Goal form 2008!
Both sides will be at full strength on Sunday and even though Liverpool are 13 points behind Chelsea, a win could ignite their season and they would be right back on track. Chelsea will want to just keep on getting results. Some feel they have not been tested yet this season. Whatever you believe they are in for a test on Sunday.
Bale Lights up the Champions League
Gareth Bale has shown great potential over the last two years whilst playing for Tottenhan Hotspur. The back end of last season he showed everyone what he is all about and has carried that on into the current campaign.
At only 21, Bale is being monitored by some of Europe's top clubs. Some people believe that Bale will eventually want to play for a team that can consistently challenge for honors.
Bale's recent displays against Inter Milan have been outstanding. In the two Champions League games, Bale scored a hat-trick away from home and set two goals up at home. The video above shows all the action. Watch and Enjoy!
