Daily Schedule and Homework

What to expect from camp
 Monday

We work on “MAKING NEW FRIENDS” and "MOVEMENT AND BALANCE". We look at the teams who are playing in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

(Homework - is to watch the vidoes on Marta, find out some details about the teams in the tournament as well as to bring in healthy food and non-carbonated drinks for snack break)
 
 Tuesday
We work on "TEAM BUILDING""PROBLEM SOLVING" "PASSING AND CONTROL". and we talk about Wednesday which is our FUN World Cup day.
(Homework - Watch the Walcott videos. On Wednesday, extra bonus points can be earned by using face paint, hair paint, make flags and learn some facts about your country. So homework is to prepare for your PLAY SOCCER™ team by finding out 3 things about the country you represent and getting your uniform ready.)
 Wednesday

We work on “SPEED AND AGILITY” "GOALKEEPING"'DECISION MAKING" and play our "FUN WORLD CUP".

(Homework - Today has been about TEAM WORK and DECISION MAKING so tonight's homework is to develop this  and learn about the PASS IT Appeal and how with team work we can help other children. Lastly , get ready for our "Get Wet" event  (If Applicable)
 Thursday
Today we work on "HEALTH AND WELLNESS" "TURNS, SPEED & SKILLS."
(Homework - is to fill in the evaluation form online  at www.playsoccer.com. We want to continue to improve our camp week so we appreciate your feedback. Also, bring food for our “soccer party”, and be sure to invite parents and family to come on Friday, for the last hour of camp to play in the family/coaches vs. campers’ game. Campers are asked to wear their new PLAY SOCCER™ camp T-shirt on Friday.)
Friday

Today we work on GOAL SCORING and end the camp with the family/coaches vs. campers game. We also have our “Soccer Party” with the snacks brought to camp.

(Homework is to keep practicing soccer and to sign up for next year’s camp!)
